South Australian electricity bills to increase by $100 PA

I South Australia 11 electricity retail companies have said that the cost of electricity will rise.   A single household electricity user will be paying on average $100 more per year for the electricity used. Carbon Tax offset by Lower Prices

It is said by a leading Consultant that wholesale power prices have been driven down due to increased competition between electricity generators fighting for a lowering market.  This is helping to offset a great deal, if not all of the carbon tax effect.
